The Atlas Pot is sturdy terracotta, designed to stand on the shoulders of its saucer counterpart. Inspired by the legendary Titan Atlas, who carried the weight of the heavens on his shoulders, this pot is characterized by its repeating circular patterns of vertical lines, symbolizing the arduous and perpetual task of its mythological namesake. Much like the enduring spirit of Atlas, this pot is built to stand the test of time, promising longevity and resilience when cared for. Hand-crafted in Italy, Bergs planters capture the simple beauty of Danish design, drawing inspiration from time-tested antique styles. This beautifully detailed set is inspired by one manufactured at Denmark's Fredensborg Palace around 1860. Every pot and saucer is made from the best quality Italian terracotta clay, high-fired for frost resistance and indoor-outdoor durability. A saucer is included with each pot.
