Photographed inside the 17th century palace of Palazzo Barberini. Welcoming you to the hall, this set of stairs leads to the piano nobile, a large squared staircase by Bernini to the left and a smaller oval staircase by Borromini - presenting a great arch-headed window, like glazed arcades, a formula that was more Venetian than Roman. A grand entrance welcoming you to the wonders of Italian heritage. Circa 1633. Photographed in Rome, Italy. Photography by Mister Antonio Art.
